Dear Friends of the Kingdom,
On March 25th, 2006, the Catholic Kingdom proudly opened its gates to the public. From that day, by the grace of God, the Kingdom has grown and continued to provide a wealth of Catholic information and activities. This has been our keenest pleasure and privilege: to be a resource for the many rich treasures of our Faith - while instilling a sense of a Catholic, active, prayerful community. Grateful for the progress the Catholic Kingdom has made over the years, its upkeep does unfortunately require a great deal of time and expense.
Some years back, we considered requiring a registration for membership on our website - and asking a small fee to help cover the costs for the website’s continuation and growth. We decided against it though, believing it to be of the utmost importance that what the Catholic Kingdom has to provide is made available to all - freely and without charge.
That is still our firm conviction. Now, however, we are in need of donations to the Catholic Kingdom: to support our website, and to ensure its continual upkeep and expansion.
ALL DONATIONS ARE ACCEPTED AS AN ALMS GIVEN TO SPREAD THE CATHOLIC FAITH. GOD WILL BE VERY GRATEFUL AND GENEROUS ACCORDING TO THE GENEROUSITY WITH WHICH YOU DONATE. YOUR DONATIONS CAN ALSO BE MADE IN THE NAME OF A PARTICULAR PERSON OR INTENTION WHICH WE WILL BE HAPPY TO POST ON THE CATHOLIC KINGDOM ASKING EVERYONE FOR PRAYERS FOR YOUR NEEDS.
Our options to accept donations are as follows: you can send us cash, or a check , or you can call your credit card number - or email the information to us, broken up over multiple emails for privacy.
A small, but important reminder to all of our friends outside the United States: we cannot receive any currencies other than US dollars. All donations, either in cash, international money orders or travelers cheques, etc. must be in US dollars. And while we would thank you for your generous intentions, the conversion rates unfortunately would consume most of your donation.
Unfortunately, our limited means do not enable us to receive and process credit card information on our own. There is, however, a private company - Holy Family Press - which has heavily contributed to the financial support of our website. In addition to their past donations, they have now generously offered to handle transactions for all credit card donations made to the Catholic Kingdom. In fact, a general percentage of their usual profit goes to the upkeep of the Catholic Kingdom. So by purchasing and patronizing their excellent Catholic media - you inherently support the Catholic Kingdom as well!
There is another organization with which the Catholic Kingdom is closely associated and friends with: The Society of the Green Scapular. It is a non-profit organization that promotes and distributes Our Lady’s powerful "Badge of the Immaculate Heart" sacramental: The Green Scapular.
At this time, we ask that all check donations be made out to the "Society of the Green Scapular", with the noted intention of making a donation to the Catholic Kingdom. All money the Society receives from checks thus marked will go to support our website.
