The Sun glows though the blinds are closed.
The angels sing, Not one soul knows,
A light shines in the dark though no one sees,
Get well soon my dear friend, open your blinds and let in the sun
Open your ears and hear them sing,
See the light in the dark and let thy Lord heal your heart.

My Family's Miracle
One day after religious education at my church my mom noticed that her speech was slurred and that her head hurt a lot. My mom had been getting a lot of headaches the last few weeks. My mom went to our doctor a few days later. When she described her symptoms she was sent to the hospital. My mom had a cat-scan that day. She was gone all day long. That night they told my mom it was brain cancer. The doctors said that they would give her an MRI in the morning to make sure it was cancer. I prayed the rosary and went to bed. people all around the world were praying for my mom that night. In the morning we all waited to hear if it was cancer. I did all of my school work at home and helped my little brothers with their work while my dad was at the hospital with my mom. While I was working I heard the door open my mom and dad came in and told us that my mom did not have cancer. She had a mass of bleeding arteries. My mom did need surgery though.
In April about a week or two before Easter my mom went in to have the surgery. It started at twelve o'clock that day. At twelve I prayed the rosary. My little brothers and I went over to one of our friends houses since no one would be home with us. Later we found out that the surgery was a success. My mom was all right.
My mom did have cancer, but with all of the prayers that night my mom was Miraculously healed! My mom now jokes that she had more pictures when she had the MRI then movie stars do in a day. My family is so thankful to God that my mom is all right.
